Daniela Moroz is a freshman at Campolindo. While Daniela was born in Berkeley, her parents are from the Czech Republic. She can speak Czech and frequently visits the country.
She currently swims for Orinda Aquatics, having been on the team for over 3 years.
Her parents met windsurfing at the Berkeley Marina and Daniela grew up loving water sports. Her parents introduced her to kitesurfing when she was eleven, and she has become competitive and passionate about it. Daniela has now been kitesurfing for 3 years and races at a competitive level. She placed 3rd in the Junior Nationals and is ranked 24th in the world overall.
