In the culmination of Homecoming week’s Powderpuff tournament, the team comprised of junior girls ran their way to the victory in the championship.

During lunch on October 5, Powderpuff commenced with freshman playing seniors and sophomores playing juniors. The seniors beat the freshmen while the sophomores managed to hold off the juniors in a close game.

On October 6, the sophomores beat the seniors and juniors thumped the freshmen.  Inexplicably, though the sophomores were undefeated, the seniors received the bid to play the juniors in the championship contested during halftime of the varsity boys’ football game on Friday, October 9.

The championship action was brief, with the juniors scoring the only points of the match on a touchdown run.
