Katy Ly, Editor in Chief
Every Thursday, Katy Ly goes to John Muir Hospital to volunteer.
Ly helps out nurses by delivering charts to them and bringing items to patients. She said, “I do it because I like to help people.”
Ly said, “I originally did it for college, but I ended up loving it.” Volunteering at a hospital would give her the opportunity to see how it all works.
Ly has volunteered since October last year and wants to learn about medicine in college. She is now a senior and is beginning to decide where she would like to go to to study her interest.
