Ty Sofman (he/him), Photography Editor

Ty Sofman, a senior at Campolindo, has always enjoyed photography and basketball. Sofman uses his photography to capture sports.

Sofman’s interest in photography started when he brought a camera to a basketball game. Since then, he has traveled all over California to take photos of basketball games. 

1 of Sofman’s biggest role models is his family friend. “I just feel like he and I are on the same journey together,” said Sofman, “We kinda got into photography together, so it’s just interesting to see our growth as photographers.” 

His favorite photographer is Kool Mac, a sports photographer. Sofman believes that Mac’s photography style is unlike any other, and he really inspires him. 

Sofman looks forward to improving his photography skills with the art staff.
