Arjun Chhabra, Staff Writer
Arjun Chhabra, a sophomore at Campolindo, enjoys helping others through Youth and Government and his club, We @ Campo.
Chhabra created We @ Campo last year after working with the national organization, We.org, in middle school. “It’s a charity club that helps kids in 3rd world countries. We help globally and locally,” said Chhabra. “I wanted to help others, and we [work] through this organization where their mentality is ‘Me to We.’ Instead of thinking about ourselves, we can all think about other people.”
He is also involved with the Diablo Valley Youth and Government delegation, where he is part of the bill committee. “I wanted to see how the California court and legislative systems work, and in Youth and Government we’re able to write bills and have mock courtroom trials,” said Chhabra. “It’s helped me narrow down what some of my passions are.”
Chhabra’s additional interests include medicine, law, and tennis, which he has played since age 4 and now plays with Campolindo’s varsity team.
This is Chhabra’s 1st year in Journalism. He joined the class because he “wanted to help and contribute to the Campolindo community” and thinks that it will improve his writing.
