Jack Bunzel-Hardie

Jack Bunzel-Hardie, Staff Writer

Junior Jack Bunzel-Hardie has been playing water polo since 7th grade. He dedicates the majority of his free time to the sport and feels that his participation in water polo has not only taught him to be a better player, but has also instilled in him a lasting work ethic and strong leadership skills.

Despite starting the sport later and being one of the smallest kids on the team his freshman year, Bunzel-Hardie, who is now a varsity player, found his place on the team through helping his teammates.

"In water polo, everyone wants to be able to bring something to the table, and I feel like I can find that in and out of the pool," said Bunzel-Hardie. As a sophomore, he helped lead Campolindo’s JV team, and he takes pride in giving advice.

Bunzel-Hardie would like to pursue a career in teaching and coaching after high school, passing on what he’s learned to the next generation. He looks forward to bringing a different perspective to the journalism class through his experiences playing water polo.
