Ruthie Stoll (she/her), Staff Writer

Freshman Ruthie Stoll is a dancer, tennis player, and foodie. She grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania, moved to the Bay when she was 4, and just graduated Stanley Middle School.

Stoll joined journalism because of her passion for writing and English classes throughout her years of school. “English has always been my favorite subject,” she explained. “But another reason I joined journalism is because I want to be a part of something, and do something for the school.”

In her free time, when not dancing or playing tennis, Stoll loves shopping ‘til dropping and exploring different food cuisines. Her favorite dessert is a rich chocolate cheesecake.

Stoll would love to be either a doctor or a lawyer when she grows up. She also feels passionate about the push for gender equality and breaking gender stereotypes.
