Lucy Maguire (she/her), Staff
Apart from her love of art and photography, freshman Lucy Maguire has been swimming for 8 years and playing volleyball for 5.
Swimming, being an individual and team sport, is 1 of the things Maguire enjoys about the sport. She also enjoys “getting in the pool on a hot day. [It] just feels really nice.” In contrast, volleyball is a fast paced sport that relies heavily on teamwork. She enjoys having “a team that works well together” in volleyball. Maguire plans on doing both swimming and volleyball at Campolindo.
Maguire joined Journalism to “get better at thinking about topics to write about.” She hopes to “improve [her] overall writing skills” by being part of The Claw.
