Freshman Katherine Deng is a writer and artist for The Claw. After being involved with journalism at her middle school, she is excited to help Campolindo’s newspaper in any way she can. Outside of school, Katherine loves playing volleyball for Campo and her club team. Additionally, she also enjoys painting, making small crafts, and building cardboard houses for her two cats. In her spare time, Katherine likes shopping and playing Roblox with her friends. 

Katherine’s goal for the 2025-2026 school year is to bring up her grades in math or science. Because she dislikes most STEM subjects, Katherine aspires to pursue a career in animation, psychiatry, psychology, or any of the other social sciences.
