Girls’ varsity soccer beat Antioch High School on January 4, securing their 4th win of the season with a final score of 5-0.

2 of the goals were scored by captain Melissa Wilson, and another goal was picked up by Wilson’s co-captain Mariah Brown. The other 2 goals were scored by junior Annie Midthun and freshman Celia Campo. 3 of the goals were scored in the 1st half and 2 were scored in the 2nd.

Senior Lindsay Easter said, “Despite Antioch putting up an aggressive fight, Campo was able to sort-of match their physicality and retrieve the ball for most of the game.”

Head coach Ernesto Silva is “very proud of their achievements so far”. The team’s next game will take place on Wednesday, January 11 against College Park.
