The varsity baseball team enjoyed a surge of hits as they trumped the Matadors 10-5 on March 29.

“It was a very offensive game,” said senior pitcher Brody Cooper.

Senior designated hitter Nicholas Fafoutis stood out with 2 doubles and a home run. Senior first baseman Jack Cassidy also contributed a double.

“I was impressed that every time they [Miramonte] scored, the next inning we would come back and score either the exact same amount or we would score more, so were keeping them off balance the whole game,” said Cooper.

“We really like to beat those guys,” said Cooper.
