Several  upcoming the Bay Area concerts will feature popular artists from a variety of genres.

On Thursday, April 10 at 8:00pm Bastille will perform at the Warfield in San Francisco. Bastille is a rock band from London who recently produced a hit single Pompeii. This year, they won the British Breakthrough Act from the Brit Awards.

Ellie Goulding

Goulding will perform on Saturday April 19  at 7:30pm at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. She is a singer, songwriter, and actress. Her most famous songs are “Burn” and “Lights,” which were both released in 2013. In 2013, Goulding won the Cosmopolitan’s Ultimate Woman of the Year Award for the Ultimate Music Star. Junior Kelly Williams, who plans to attend the concert, said, “I really like her style and her voice and I’ve heard she’s really good live.”

Gavin DeGraw

On Saturday, April 26 at 8:00pm, DeGraw will perform at the Uptown Theater in Napa. DeGraw’s blend of rock and pop music is shown in songs such as “Not Over You” and “Best I Ever Had.”

Bruno Mars

On Wednesday, May 28 at 8pm Bruno Mars will perform at the ORACLE arena in Oakland. He is best known for singing “Marry You,” “Grenade,” “Just the Way You Are,” and “Young Girls.” In addition to being a singer-songwriter, Mars is also a record producer, musician, voice actor, and choreographer. He is also one of  nine members of the band The Hooligans. Junior Rachel Sniderman attended the concert last year after her friend Sophia Harrigan convinced her to go. “It was a really good show and he put on the best performance,” she said. According to Sniderman, before the concert she liked Mars’ music but would not have gone if it weren’t for her friend’s influence. However, after the performance she was “obsessed.”
