Senior Lauren Kawamoto is now entering her third year as part of The Claw’s staff, and has enjoyed getting an in-depth look at Campo through journalistic writing. For her last year, one of her main goals is to maximize her impact on the journalistic community as the returning business and arts section editor. She also writes creatively outside of school and has applied this style to several passion projects.
In addition to writing, Lauren generally enjoys learning new foreign languages, such as Japanese and Mandarin. Her appreciation for Campo’s journalism program has only grown following an extensive summer international relations academy on Georgetown University’s campus, which emphasized awareness of the world.
Being a part of Journalism for the writing and community aspects has always been exciting for Lauren, and she can’t wait to see what happens next this year!
