Junior Lauren Kawamoto has been a part of The Claw staff since her sophomore year, and has enjoyed getting an in-depth look at Campolindo through journalistic writing. She also writes creatively outside of school and has applied this style to several passion projects.
In addition to writing, Lauren has been taking Japanese for ten years, and generally enjoys learning new foreign languages overall, like Mandarin. Her appreciation for Campo’s journalism program has only grown following an extensive summer international relations academy on Georgetown University’s campus, which emphasized awareness of the world.
As a junior, her goal this year is to succeed academically and gain more experience as business editor and a part of The Claw community. She’s looking forward to another year in Journalism!
