Tolerance Workshops Return to English Classes

Tolerance+Workshops+Return+to+English+Classes

A leadership-lead “tolerance week” will begin March 13th. It aims to teach students more acceptance of their peers through lectures, workshops, and activities.  Senior Devon Bruzzone said, ” We want tolerance week to create a discussion and raise awareness amongst classmates.”

Junior and sophmore English classes will be participating in tolerance workshops on Wednesday March 17th. The workshops will be structured similarly to last year. Bruzzone said, “We get a really good response from teachers about the workshops.”

On the Thursday Marc Elliot, an inspirational speaker with Tourette’s syndrome, will be speaking at a school wide assembly about issues of discrimination.
