Ella Damdin, a Campolindo freshman, has joined Journalism 1 and is looking forward to the art and writing components of The Claw. She likes drawing and playing video games, breaking the stereotypical boundary that only guys play video games. Ella’s art comes from experience of nearly 14 years as she explains that she was drawing since she was “a wee little kid”.
Coming from JM, she enjoyed badminton and volleyball, getting to see her now 7th grade sister at school. While she wishes to add a cat to the family, she does not get one, so Ella makes up for it by taking French 2 and showing off her advancement: “oui oui baguette”. Classes aren’t the only pro of Campolindo as Ella has many friends from different grades and gets to hang out with them while enjoying the vibe of school and meeting the teachers.
