Undefeated during the DFAL season, Girls’ Tennis made it to the quarter finals of the NCS tournament, where they lost to Monta Vista.
Senior Natalie Korich and Junior Miranda Hill reached the section semi-finals as a doubles team.
Junior Mette Huberts believes that the tennis team worked well together. “We got along pretty well, we have a good amount of seniors but we do have a few sophomores,” she said. “This is the best of my years here.”
According to Korich, playing doubles is “completely different than playing singles.” Though Korich is happy with how far the team, and her doubles team went, she believes that the team should have advanced further into the tournament.
