Apple released the iPhone 6, the 6 Plus, and iOS 8 on September 16. Both the new iPhones and the software have features that make the iPhone more powerful and easier to use.
The iPhone has been a revolutionary product. It was the first phone to allow use of applications, and to store vast amounts of data. Each new iPhone has boasted new features, improved Wifi, and bug fixes. Apple is known to be pricy, but the products are often seen by consumers as being worth it.
The iPhone 6 is listed at $199.99 and the 6 Plus sells for $299.99. Both phones offer a bigger screen, as well as new applications and other unique features.
The iPhone 6 is larger than the iPhone 5s and the 5c. The iPhone 6 Plus is even larger, the largest phone that Apple has ever released. The iPhone 6 Plus is only a few inches shorter than the iPad Mini.
On both the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus, the “off” button has been moved to the right hand side. On both phones, the display has improved. The screen is clear, and it is easier to see detail.
Another new feature is Apple Pay. This allows people to use their credit cards to buy items through their iPhone. This is a great feature for adults.
Both phones come with Touch ID, which recognizes a unique fingerprint to unlock the screen. The Touch ID allows me to get into the iPhone much quicker, and reduces the risk of touching a wrong number accidentally.
The Wifi has improved on both phones.
The 6 Plus is too large to fit comfortably in a standard pocket, making the standard 6 a more likely choice for those accustomed to the size of previous models.
Additionally, the newest operating system, iOS 8, was released as an update for the iPhone 5s, 5c. It comes loaded on the 6 and the 6 Plus. iOS 8 offers a new look to the control panel. Most of the features are the same as the iOS 7, but the style is streamlined.
