The football team entered the section championship playoffs with a flawless record.

Their first team to conquer was Hercules on Friday November 18. They scored 58 points,  leaving Hercules in their offensive wake.

Campo remained undefeated after playing Bishop O’Dowd at home on Saturday, November 26.

Pre-game favorites, Cardinal Newman welcomed Campo to their field on Friday, December 2. Though they were ranked number one in the North Bay, the East Bay’s top team prevailed.

Campo was down by 21 points early however.  The underdog Cougars scored two touchdowns just before the half, closing the gap to 7 points.

After a pep talk, the boys dominated Cardinal Newman with three additional touchdowns in the second half. Meanwhile, the Campo defense held their opponents to just 3 points for the remainder of the game.

Campo will face Marin Catholic from San Rafael on Saturday, December 10, at 7:00pm in the Oakland Coliseum.  Both squads enter the match with perfect records.
