Mia Daly (she/her), Staff Writer
Freshman Mia Daly’s passion for freedom in prose drove her to join the writing staff for The Claw.
Daly has always loved writing and English classes. She said, “I like writing because it gives you so much creative power, as opposed to Math where there’s a set system and you have to follow the system”.
Her value on flexibility doesn’t stop in the classroom. When she’s not doing schoolwork, one of her main hobbies is dancing at CAPA. Daly has been dancing for 7 years and participates in ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary. “If I had to choose a favorite style, I would probably say tap or jazz because they aren’t as strict,” Daly said.
Daly looks forward to working in the Lifestyle and Opinion columns so she can further writing as her means of self expression.
