Haelee Chung (she/her), Staff Illustrator
Senior Haelee Chung (she/her) is a new member of the art staff at the Claw. Haelee’s been painting and drawing all her life, and loves to express her emotions and beliefs through her work.
Outside of art, Haelee is passionate about animals and protecting their rights. Reminiscing over her early years, she told me about her childhood pet: “I had a cat in New York. It had thumbs. We named her Thumbkin, like where is Thumbkin, where is Thumbkin? She died a long time ago.”
Additionally, in her free time, Haelee enjoys watching movies, her two favorites being The Corpse Bride and Minari. She also works at our local Starbucks.
